Your device continuously refines its GPS fix. The app keeps updating and automatically selects the smallest (best) accuracy value it receives.

The circle represents the accuracy radius. Your actual location is somewhere within that circle. A smaller circle means higher confidence in the position.

Yes. Use the “Copy coordinates” button to copy your latitude and longitude. You can paste them into messages, documents, maps, or records. If copying does not work, ensure your browser allows clipboard access and try again.

Yes. Use the “Open in Google Maps” option to view your exact position in the Google Maps app or website.

No. Your location is used only in real time to display your coordinates and map position. It is not stored, saved, or shared.

If you denied location access, the app cannot retrieve your position. To fix this:

• Refresh the page
• Allow location access when prompted
• Or enable location permissions in your browser settings

The app works on most modern smartphones, tablets, and computers with GPS or location services enabled. Accuracy may be lower on desktops or older devices without GPS hardware.

Yes. This tool is well suited for marking precise fixed points such as gravesites, landmarks, or reference locations. For best results, remain stationary until accuracy stabilises.

Environmental factors such as buildings, trees, weather, or being indoors can reduce GPS quality. In some situations, achieving under 10 metres may not be possible despite waiting longer.
