Mysterious Murders Unfold in Kaplani Village: Police Launch Investigations

In a shocking turn of events, the peaceful community of Kaplani Village outside Mthatha was rattled by two gruesome murder incidents over the weekend. On Saturday, 03 June 2023, around 18:00, local police received a distress call reporting a disturbing discovery: two burnt bodies, unrecognizable and beyond identification, were found inside a bakkie abandoned in the nearby bushes.

Authorities swiftly arrived at the scene to investigate the disturbing crime. Preliminary findings unveiled a startling revelation—the bakkie belonged to the Department of Correctional Services. This revelation raised questions about the potential motive behind the killings. The victims, later identified as Lunga Feya (27) and Luthando Thingithingi (34), had sustained multiple injuries, indicating a violent end to their lives. Another murder case, encompassing two counts, was opened by the local authorities, who remain committed to unraveling the truth behind these disturbing incidents.
